Teaching
I am fortunate to get to teach the stuff that I love to students who want to be professional designers. In my classes, I strive to create a fun, welcoming, and productive environment. My goal is to get students to love design as much as I do, to explore different techniques, to push beyond the expected, and to embrace process and practice. Creating a good design is hard—much harder than it looks—and it can be a struggle for students to fully realize their ideas while building technical skills. I try to give my students the tools, knowledge, and encouragement to succeed in their creative work and beyond.
